I have come to realize that to become a successful sales person is not easy. It is easy to try to sell but to a be successful salesman is an art. This is true for any profession whether you are a doctor, lawyer, teacher or simply someone in a production line.
Each profession or job has their leaders.
In every case the individual that tends to be more successful is always passionate, logical, caring, and honest about his or her career. When dealing with my customers it comes to me naturally because it is in my nature to behave that way. All my customers believe that I am their partner and care as much about their project as they do. In some cases, believe it or not, that is actually true. This kind of behavior develops a phenomenal trust between the customers and myself. Now this does not allow you to take advantage of a customer. In fact, it is the opposite. Once you have earned this trust you have to work really hard to maintain it and live up to their promised expectations.
I like to think that I have been somewhat successful in my sales career and would like to share with you some of the techniques that I have used to make this an enjoyable career for myself. Please share with me some of your ideas that have made you successful in your career.
